Cultivate an attitude of gratitude
Waking up is when you have been given another day and chance to make a positive difference. Even when the night was interrupted, you are now here still on this planet breathing oxygen, hopefully having access to food, water, and electricity. If your basic needs are covered, consider yourself absolutely lucky. So, so many people are living in fear about where to get food next, where to make money, where to find shelter and medical support and where to find love and peace. Having an awareness is giving you the chance to see what is beyond your tiny bubble of perceived existence and is letting you appreciate your beautiful life. We can create awareness by reading news articles, by getting involved with uncomfortable topics and by helping others in need. Knowing more will possibly create emotions we may feel as unpleasant. However, we have the opportunity to work on our consciousness, so we don’t get too attached, hurt, and fearful. It can be broadened through meditation and mindfulness techniques. Eventually, our hearts will be filled with pure and unconditional love in every aspect.
